When President Obama announced an agreement with the leaders of the auto industry to curb emissions and increase fuel economy standards, the CEO’s of the auto industry were all smiles. Now, under this president, Scott Pruitt is going to try and roll back those standards to allow more pollution into the air and more fuel to be wasted.

These same CEO’s are again all smiles and supporting this initiative. HYPOCRITES!!!!!! LIARS!!!!

Speaking out of both sides of their mouths, the auto industry is siding with this administration to do harm to the environment for the sake of increased profits.

BUT WAIT…About 1/3 of all autos are sold in California and a consortium of states that have said that they will keep the California rules…i.e. the prior rules in place…This means a showdown is looming as to whether the California carve out regarding air pollution rules can remain. I hope that they can…

In the meantime, Scott Pruitt must go…and the CEO’s of the auto industry should be ashamed.
