As reported by the Washington Post, the EPA is ending the Energy Star Program. This program has resulted in providing consumers with valuable information about energy consumption that has saved them over $500 billion since the program started in 1991.

The Energy Star program is a part of many green building requirements, ie, requirements to use Energy Star appliances. This is an example of another attack on sound science and energy conservation by unqualified, angry people who either do not understand science or environmental protection, or don’t care about the people that they are supposed to be serving.

This is one of those blogs that I don’t have a good suggestion as to what you should do…but you should at least know about this.
