I have always thought highly of Senator Bateman…I have had the pleasure of working for him when he was a Freeholder…and I have had the pleasure of working with him on issues since he has been in the legislature.

His editorial on energy conservation is at the very least insightful. It also happens to be accurate. A nice combination in a legislator. Finally it is rather brave for a Republican to simply tell the truth about energy.

Kip, cudos and you are right. We can certainly do much better in relation to energy conservation and we should!!! They are the cheapest dollars that we can spend.

New Jersey should be ashamed of itself as a state for falling to the middle of the pack on this issue. Maybe, just maybe…we can turn this around.
