The NJ Turnpike and the Garden State Parkway are slated for road widening over a 34 mile stretch. Have we learned nothing? Every time a road is widened, more traffic is created. More traffic = development = the need for more roads = more widening.

I find it incredulous that Governor Murphy, who has been an aggressive proponent of fighting climate change and stating that clean air is a goal of his administration can support this action. He has the power to stop this road widening and he should.
