As you know by now, I had the privilege of working for Christie Whitman for a number of years. We did not always agree on policy or issues, but we were always able to come to a meeting of the minds on the big issues. More importantly, this is a person who does not express concern unless that concern is warranted.

So, when I read an Op-Ed that expresses such a deep concern about how the EPA is now being run, and the direction that it is moving, I am even more concerned than I was when I last said that Mr. Pruitt needs to be removed from his office.

His blatant disregard of the scientific method, his self – centered (a hall mark of this administration) let’s just have fossil fuels attitude and his dangerous love of ignorance are frightening. Very frightening.

Say what you will, when Administrator Whitman is worried, you should be too.
