Decentralized Solar: An Interesting Idea
Germany has instituted an interesting decentralized solar program whereby residents can install free standing solar panels with built in inverter systems. The idea is that residents can essentially create a plug and play system using solar power for those items they deem a best fit.
Typical systems in the U.S. require a much more complicated installation requiring an electrician and a centralized wiring and installation system.
I wonder if this idea would work here? It is certainly worth considering.
