As reported by the Washington Post, Thomas Dambo is an artist that saw creativity in what others throw away. He builds trolls out of discards that he finds in different locations…and then when commissioned to do so, places them in strategic locations in parks and certain public spaces…

The Trolls are set up to surprise and delight visitors.

Of course, he is reusing material to make his sculptures. Sometimes they are made from wood scraps, sometimes from other material.

His fun statement is that he would like to “….show people how much beauty we can create from all that trash.”

Well, one person’s trash is another person’s art.
