Dollars and Cents and Nature?
A recent report summary indicates that spending $1 on protecting the natural environment (i.e. land or water) returns $5 since it gives nature a chance to thrive. This in turn can provide increases in agriculture, improve fresh water and help fight climate change among other benefits.

You decide.
