Mayor Adams announced that every resident in New York City will have their garbage collected from automatic locking carts. Why? As they stated clearly in their press release, it will help to control rats and will keep the City cleaner.

The project was also supported and led by the NY City Council. This was an exercise in leadership…but more importantly, when New York City modernizes to carts it will help to reduce the vermin in the City and it will be safer for City workers who collect the garbage in New York.

The world is changing and this step forward is coming…

If you are a New Jersey community, you should be looking at carts for the future.
