The SEC has recently fined the maker of Keurig $1.5 million for making false claims about the recyclability of those stupid (did I say stupid) plastic pods. For a $50 billion company, this is nothing…but the message is a good start…Don’t lie about the recyclability of your products.

New Jersey is pursuing a Truth in Labeling Law and Extended Producer Responsibility Law that, in their current form, Keurig would easily be violating with their claims.

I have an easier solution for all of you.. STOP USING THESE CUPS and hurt them where it counts..in the wallet.
