Enhancing and Restoring Alumni Green at NJ Montclair State University

As part of Montclair State University's College Hall renovation project, Alumni Green is being excavated so that new utility lines can be installed.

Alumnus Wayne DeFeo '80, '82 MS has again volunteered to help plan this iconic campus green. DeFeo had previously dedicated his time and energy to design and plant evergreens, flower beds and flowering trees in time for the 1996 Alumni Weekend dedication of Alumni Green. Once the green is restored this time around, it will be bigger and even more welcoming.

Wanye DeFeo, who earned degrees in Biology and Environmental Studies worked closely with the late Biology Professor Marie Kuhnen to make Alumni Green a space to remember and respect Alumni.
